Marijean Stallings, National Sponsorship Sales

Marijean brings over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing in high end events marketing.

Marijean began her career in the hospitality industry as a revenue maximization administrator learning every aspect of running a complex and successful event. She has a practical working knowledge of everything related to sales and marketing of limited service through to full-service events and conferences.

Marijean can draw on a network of top professionals in industry with whom she cultivated tight personal relationships to maximize NimGuerra™ sponsorship revenue.

Marijean has been named to National Football League Alumni Association Board of Directors in Atlanta, Georgia, and works to to direct the NFL Celebrity Tennis Tournament

Since 1996 she has been a member of the Executive Leadership Foundation Charity Events in Atlanta, Georgia. Her other event marketing experience includes the 2000 John Hancock Major League Baseball All Star Game Fanfest, became the first female elected to the State of Georgia Board of Directors of the Georgia Fellowship of Christian Athletes, was Coordinator for “Fantasy” Silent Auction / Collins Catholic School of Corsicana, Texas, and as a member of the National Charity Awards Dinner Regional Committee in Atlanta, and in 1991 she coordinated the National Charity Awards Celebrity Golf Fundraiser in conjunction with the White House Office of Public Liaison at Chateau Elán Legends Course, Braselton, Georgia.

Her professional sports background includes membership in the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association (ALTA). She has almost a decade of exerience as a Tennis Professional and provided private tennis instruction, while coaching as many as ten ALTA teams each season.

Her fundraising efforts include working with the Scottish Rite Festival, assisting the Executive Director with all areas of the twelve fund raising projects from August – December for each of multiple years.

She was tennis coach at Belton High School, Belton, Texas where she coached girls’ and boys’ tennis teams, including middle school, freshmen, junior varsity, and varsity players.

Her education includes Mary Hardin-Baylor University, Belton, Texas where she earned her Texas Teacher’s Certification, from which she went to Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma to earn her Bachelor of Science in Recreation with a Minor in Business Administration.

Marijean achieved a Georgia and Southern tennis ranking by age division in women’s singles and doubles, the “First Lady’s Cup” as Most Outstanding Female Athlete at Oral Roberts University, recognized as the Most Valuable Tennis Player at Oral Roberts University on a full tennis athletic scholarship.
